fathers day books facebook london

Here is a book I read a couple of weeks ago but forgot. I like these eye candy books between deeper novels. from my recollection it was a cop story and had something to do with New York rappers, a murder, a millionair, a Ukrainian... and bad story telling, which was perfect.
on a side note, I am waiting for chris or wes to update thier blogs. I checked their facebook's but there was nothing new as of yesterday. chris has a profile picture of him shirtless on top of a mountain or something and because he has thousand comments(none of which make sense to me) all of which have his profile picture attached to it, the website gives me a creepy gay porn feeling, i mean if a neighbor was walking by and happened to look in my window he would think that I had a thing for fat little white guys (when chris reads this he will be like, "i'm not fat")
but anyways, he is in Eurpopa, where London is Calling and having fish and chips and all that ballyooing that microsoft expects of him.
so with that, happy father's day to the lot of ya.

one year
Well it has been one year this weekend. Last year this time Kim and I went up pillar for a quick impromptu of marriage before heading down to Washington for the ceremony. After a nice run, Kim and I decided to hike up pillar and check out the new windmills… the windmills are HUGE! Over 300ft tall each blade alone is 120ft. Yesterday was Teri Schneider’s birthday, after another nice breakfast over Marmot bay, we headed out the road for a day of four wheeling, hiking, firewood gathering and good old sitting around the campfire roasting hotdogs and marshmallows.

gooday sunshine
We had another great weekend here, lots of sun, some fishing, a hike to Lake Heitman and a nice breakfast Sunday morning on the cliffs of Miller pt. over looking Marmot bay. Can't beat it.
drove out Saturday morning to Monashka creek early in the morning looking for kings in the river. nothing but the sounds of wind, river and birds.

Later we took a hike up to Heitman lake.

the lake was covered in ice but that didnt stop Kim from laying down in the sun. that is her down below on the left.

self portrait and the hike behind us.

Breakfast Sunday morning at Miller pt. I kept half expecting to look out and see the Olympics, It really did feel like we were on the west side of San Juan.

Flowers dotted the hillsides

looking down

Later on we drove out and went fishing for Reds. Mostly just testing out flys while Kim relaxed riverside.

Kim looking good.
