Grandpa's visit: five or more trips to Mack's, five trips to Chowder house for fish and chips, the Kodiak Island brewing company is now richer, there are less king salmon in Monashka creek, sun block was applied, Finn was in awe, Henry’s for halibut burgers, guns were shot, smiles had by all. Below is a picture of a bear’s foot print on a sunny day hike in a world that seems to be a dream.

My dad thought it was nuts that I didn't have a handgun for fishing so offered to head down to macks and help in the purschase (he wouldn't get out of the car unless we were protected.) A new Springfield .45 XD that we split the difference on. Thanks Dad!

What a great read. Every story gets you thinking... understanding taste (food) and making the perfect product… hair color (women's rights) and how it is marketed to us, how advertising directly taps into social movements and wants. Predicting stock trends and how corporations trick us into thinking they are worth something when they are worth nothing at all
