great week. flew out to one of the villages got some good views of our house from town. nice sunny cold weather, the pond is frozen over so we all went out and played some hockey... the kids were in strollers and we skated them around on the ice super fast and they got excited. here is a picture of finn just waking up.

More snovember

started getting our first dustings of snow... the ice on the pond is freezing over and hockey starts next week so I pulled the stinky pads from under the house and have them airing out next to the cozy fire place.

great times. we had about 63 trick or treaters come to our house, very close to breaking the record of 73, but then out of nowhere the power went out (we were having a fall storm) with all the lights out we fired up the candles and soon our friends teri and eric came over, we had green curry roast beef and they brought a giant bowl of halibut chowder. we had the fire going and candles lit and spent the rest of the night telling stories while sipping on spruce tip brew.
